Following delivering our My Maths Story assembly and supporting the Maths in the Real World class lesson, Xiaopei said:
"I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience which was both enriching and inspiring for myself and the children alike. The children asked some interesting questions and were really engaging during the assembly presentation. It was also wonderful to see the children bringing numeracy to life by applying the maths they had learnt to everyday situations during the classroom session. Thank you again to Wimborne Primary School for having me and to National Numeracy, I hope the children enjoyed it as much as I did and good luck to all the children who have entered the competition!"
The school added:
"Thank you for the visit today. The assembly went well with Years 4, 5 and 6 [...] They have found it very interesting and asked lots of intriguing questions."
Xiaopei also spoke to us, along with some of our other volunteers, for Number Confidence Week last year.
